Come taste the sandwich made famous by my grandfather, Pat Olivieri, over 75 years ago. The Family Tradition lives on! Many thanks to our friends, family, and loyal customers for all of the support over the past year and a half.

In 1982, Rick Olivieri and his father, Herb, opened “Olivieri Prince of Steaks” at the historic Reading Terminal Market. On June 9th, 1995, Rick took over the store and renamed it “Rick’s Original Philly Steaks,” carrying on his grandfather's tradition as 3rd generation steak-maker!

On October 29th, 2008, Rick's Steaks closed its Reading Terminal Market location because their lease had expired.

We are truly grateful and inspired by your continued patronage over the 25 years that we have operated within the Market. We look forward to seeing you again at our new location a few blocks away.
